Artist Tomaso De Luca dialogues with curatorial duo Francesco Urbano Ragazzi about transverse spaces: their history, their morphology, their horizons. The flux of spoken words will run together with samples of images, online chats and other personal notes which will generate a lecture-performance in the dark.
Tomaso De Luca (Verona, 1988, lives and works in Berlin). Through the use of drawings, sculptures, videos and installations steeped in literary, philosophical and general culture references, the artist experiments with formal solutions in which he questions the symptoms of our society. Luxury furniture, mass commodities and architectural structures are charged with histories of class, race and gender exclusion. A character of obsolescence seems to be present in his works creating a form of resistance to the consumerist nature of our time.
