Lecture by Francesco Urbano Ragazzi
ReReality and Other Words is a lecture by the curatorial team Francesco Urbano Ragazzi, an occasion for re-reading some of their endeavours from the recent past. Inspired by the cyberpunk film Decoder and the concept of “reality hacking” elaborated by the Swiss artist Peter Regli, the conference will have at its core two case studies related to the ongoing Internet Saga project. They are the namesake exhibition legendary director Jonas Mekas presented during the 56th Venice Biennale in 2015 and A Mystical Staircase, an online show having the form of a tarot deck.
Keywords and hashtags: independence VS autonomy, hacktivism, interpassivity, muzak, elevation, net stoicism.
Re-Reality and Other Words was conceived for the Pool seminar ʺIn the lift. An exhibition series in Hard Turm Park AGʺ held by Johanna Bruckner and Claudia Kübler at ZHdK, Master Fine Arts.
