FUORI!!! is the title of an explosive book edited by Carlo Antonelli and Francesco Urbano Ragazzi in 2020 for NERO editions. It is the critical reprint of FUORI! (an acronym for Fronte Unitario Omosessuale Rivoluzionario Italiano—Revolutionary Homosexual Unitary Front—as well as the Italian word for “out”): a magazine and association that fought for LGBTQ+ rights throughout the 1970s and ’80s, whose courage continues to resonate today.

In 2022, the book experienced a new explosion in international media. The exclamation FUORI!!!, the bomb, and all the elements of its cover appeared in Alessandro Michele’s final collection for Gucci. Through a collaboration between the brand’s creative director and the book’s editors, FUORI!!! and its revolutionary spirit made a striking appearance at the Twinsburg fashion show on September 22, 2022.

This collaboration was aimed at bringing international attention to the history of the Italian homosexual liberation movement and supported the Fondazione Sandro Penna and the FUORI! archive in Torino through a generous donation from the brand.
